Through the perspective of the international students, the video, with sincere and passionate emotions and vivid and rich images, showcased the beautiful campus environment, rich and colorful campus activities, advanced teaching facilities, and strong research capabilities of Jilin University, filling the new students with anticipation and longing for their future studies and life.

Vice Dean He Kan of the College of Basic Medical Sciences welcomed and congratulated the 2025 MBBS international students. At the same time, he explained the significance of this orientation training, which is to help new students adapt to life and study in China more quickly, familiarize themselves with the campus environment, and understand various rules and regulations.

Subsequently, Liu Yuhao, a counselor from the Student Mental Health Guidance Center, gave a lecture on cross-cultural adaptation and mental health. She first interpreted the possible psychological distresses and their causes that international students might encounter, and provided a series of psychological adjustment strategies to help them better adapt to the new environment. At the same time, she introduced the rich support resources of the school, including a senior mental health care team, a well-equipped mental health training base, convenient counseling channels, and medical treatment methods.

He first analyzed in detail the causes of campus fires, showed examples of fire hazards on campus and their serious consequences, and introduced to the students the importance of safety awareness, as well as the use of fire extinguishing facilities, fire alarm procedures, and evacuation and escape methods and other emergency self-rescue measures.

Finally, Liu Mo, the international student counselor of the College of Basic Medical Sciences, interpreted the matters related to the international students' admission guidelines, laws and regulations, school rules and regulations, insurance, and visa management.
