On November 2, 2025, the 25th Jilin University Men’s Futsal Open Tournament successfully concluded at the Central Campus. After two days of fierce competition, the Men’s Football Team of the College of Basic Medical Sciences stood out from 40 participating teams. They fought courageously and advanced steadily, ultimately securing the third place with an outstanding performance.

       During the tournament, the MBBS international students on the team demonstrated exceptional competitive skills and tenacious fighting spirit. Facing numerous strong opponents, they maintained high morale throughout. On the defensive end, they coordinated seamlessly to defuse the opponents' fierce attacks time and again. On the offensive end, they displayed exquisite teamwork and fearless competitiveness. Every all-out steal, every gritted-teeth sprint, and every focused shot embodied the team's sweat and determination. Eventually, relying on tacit cooperation, superb skills, and unyielding fighting spirit, they won honor for the College!

       This futsal open tournament fully showcased the excellent spiritual outlook and competitive level of the international students in our college, enhancing students’ sense of teamwork and cooperation. In the future, the school will continue to implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, guide students to achieve all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor skills. It will provide more platforms for students to showcase themselves and temper their character, further enriching their after-school cultural life. We hope all students will continue to uphold the spirit of tenacious struggle and contribute their youthful strength to the development of the college!
