On May 13, 2025, the “25th Jilin University Sunshine Sports Event - Football Division Cup” successfully concluded at the Central Campus. After a month of fierce competition, the Men’s Football Team of the College of Basic Medical Sciences stood out from 20 participating teams and won the championship, achieving the best result in its history.

        During the one-month competition, the Men’s Football Team of the College of Basic Medical Sciences achieved an outstanding record of winning all eight games. Facing many strong opponents, the team members advanced courageously all the way with their tacit cooperation, excellent football skills and tenacious fighting spirit, and finally won the championship.

       Among them, HIRSI MAHAMUD, a 2019 MBBS international student, won the title of “Best Player”; MOHAMMAD MAHDI, a 2024 MBBS international student, won the title of “Best Goalkeeper”; and ABDIRAHMAN, a 2019 MBBS international student, won the title of “Best Captain”.

        This football match fully demonstrated the high-spirited mental outlook and excellent competitive level of the students in our college, and further enhanced the students’ sense of teamwork and spirit of cooperation. In the future, the college will continue to implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, enrich campus cultural activities, guide students to uphold the “Basic Spirit” of tenacious struggle, and contribute their youth strength to the development of the college.
