On October 20, 2024, the 24th Jilin University Men’s Futsal Open Tournament successfully concluded at the Central Campus. After two days of intense competition, the Men’s Football Team of the College of Basic Medical Sciences stood out from 40 participating teams and finally won the runner-up, achieving the best historical result in the college’s history.

        During the competition, the MBBS international students in the Men’s Football Team of the College of Basic Medical Sciences demonstrated outstanding competitive skills and a tenacious fighting spirit. Facing many strong opponents, they won honors for the college with their tacit cooperation, exquisite football skills and unyielding morale.

        This football open tournament showcased the excellent spiritual outlook and competitive level of the international students in our college, and enhanced the students’ sense of teamwork and cooperation. In the future, the college will continue to implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, guide students to achieve all-round development in moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor education, provide students with more platforms to showcase and exercise themselves, and further enrich students’ after-school cultural life. It is hoped that the students will continue to maintain the tenacious and striving spirit of the college and contribute their youth strength to the development of the college.
