Having braved winds and rains along the journey of seeking knowledge, and setting sail on the vast sea towards a bright future. In this season filled with both sentiment and hope, the College of Basic Medical Sciences of Jilin University grandly held the 2025 Graduation Concert on the evening of June 21. Wang Fang, Dean of the College of Basic Medical Sciences; Wang Xiaorong, Secretary of the Party Committee; Sun Wei, He Kan, Li Dong, Yang Ming, and Cao Haibo, Vice Deans of the College; directors of various departments; as well as teacher and student representatives attended the concert.

        The concert starts with a dynamic medley performed by a band. “The melody of Sunflower” spread like sunshine, conveying the vigorous vitality of youth. “Gray Track”, with its infectious tune, led the audience to recall the little stories along their youth journey in the music, instantly igniting the atmosphere of the whole venue. “Truly Love You” paid tribute to the warm emotions that accompanied their growth with its passionate rhythm and affectionate lyrics.

        Subsequently, Zhang Wenda, a 2024-grade doctoral student, delivered a soulful performance of “Brilliant You” and his original song “Unhappiness Is Temporary”. With the clear voice and sincere emotions, he sang about the deep blessings for his classmates and the graduates' aspirations for the future, while also soothing the faint sorrow of the farewell moment.

        Priyansh, a 2019 MBBS graduate, gave a guitar-accompanied singing performance of “Graduation Parody”. The song, with its fiery style and unique exotic charm, immersed the audience in the cheerful rhythm, and applause and cheers echoed continuously at the scene.

        In the middle of the concert, He Kan, Vice Dean of the College of Basic Medical Sciences, and a representative of international students brought the gentle and touching “Farewell Blooms into Flowers”. With a unique perspective and moving interpretation, they turned the sentiment of farewell into blooming flowers, telling the profound friendship forged during the years of studying abroad, filling the venue with a warm atmosphere.

        After that, “Love Me, Don't Go” sung by Li Dongyang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Teacher Yan Tianhao, a teacher representative, struck a strong chord with the teachers and students off the stage. The song was gentle yet full of reluctance, sincere and touching.

        Finally, the concert came to an end with teachers and students singing “Goodbye” in unison. The familiar melody echoed over the campus. The song contained not only the sentiment of farewell, but also the power of blessings and the hope of reunion.

        Each beautiful song linked the memories of youth, and each sincere performance gathered the unforgettable moments.
